Life Happens and That’s Okay

So I have been working on this website since June 2021, it is currently January 28th, 2022, and it’s still not published.

In June 2021 I was a stay-at-home parent with a 7-month-old, other parents can attest that you think you can do sooo much more than you actually can. My child got more active and was growing fast, my partner purposed, than holidays family events and birthdays were coming up and now I am working full time planning a wedding taking care of a very active one-year-old and trying to make art. Shit, it’s four days till February and I have not touched this website. I feel like I have failed… that I didn’t do enough… that others do 50 times more things under similar circumstances. Those feelings really suck, but I am me I am not someone else and I did what I could.

Okay on a happier note I am tabling at a craft fair in March and waiting on acceptance to table at one in May. I am very excited but extremely nervous, the one that I was in in 2018 was awful did not sell one item. This year and the others to follow will be different I will sell many items and gain a happy supportive customer base that will grow each year. Currently still in the planning stages and figuring out where to get prints, stickers, and possibly pins made for the traditional art side. For the craft side, I have made a few tests, figured out pricing, and even made a few to sell. The display portion is still on the backburner. There is a lot to get done for this website, Etsy, and The Strange Place in general, along with everything I listed earlier. I hope that you follow me on this exciting journey because I am excited to share my process with you.
